Am I allowed to ride the Yozma IN 10 on public roads?

No. The IN 10 is not approved for use on public roads in Germany. It is intended exclusively for off-road use on private or fenced-off property for which the owner has granted permission. This also applies to farm and forest roads.

Do I need a driver's license to drive the IN 10?

A driver's license is not required on private property. Since the IN 10 is not approved for use on public roads, there is no driver's license category that would allow it to be driven legally on public roads.

How far can I really go on a single battery charge?

The manufacturer specifies a range of up to 85 km. This figure applies to steady driving in a low gear on level ground. In normal off-road use with varying load conditions, the realistic range is more likely to be between 40 and 60 km. Rider weight, temperature, tire pressure, and terrain significantly affect range.

How long does it take to charge the battery, and can I remove it?

Using the included 5-A charger, the battery charges from 0 to 100% in about 5 to 6 hours. The battery is removable and can therefore be conveniently charged at home or in the garage.

How is the IN 10 delivered—do I have to assemble it?

The IN 10 is delivered largely pre-assembled; the handlebars are already installed. Essentially, all that needs to be installed are the right pedal and a few accessories; the necessary tools are included. Before using the bike for the first time, we recommend checking all screw connections and the tire pressure.

Why is the Yozma IN 10 cheaper than other electric motorcycles?

The price difference is primarily due to the more compact design: a smaller carbon steel frame instead of aluminum, 14"/12" rims instead of 19-inch, 55 kg instead of about 70 kg, and a motor rated at 2,600 W instead of 8,000 W. However, no corners were cut on safety-related components—hydraulic disc brakes, a nitrogen-filled shock absorber, and a 1,123-Wh battery are all standard equipment. The IN 10 is thus deliberately positioned one class below bikes like the Rerode R1.

Can I ride the Yozma IN 10 in wet conditions and in the rain?

Yes. The IN 10 is IPX6-rated, meaning it is protected against powerful water jets; riding in the rain or through shallow puddles is therefore no problem. It is not suitable for deep water or riding through streams; the battery and electrical components must not be submerged.
