Weighing just 65 kg and featuring a state-of-the-art Hairpin motor and an innovative semi-solid-state battery, the Light Bee 2 sets new standards in the off-road scene. Whether on steep mountain slopes, winding trails, or challenging terrain—this bike is designed for maximum performance and pure riding fun.

SUR-RON Light Bee 2: Technical Specifications and Performance

The SUR-RON Light Bee 2 is powered by a latest-generation Hairpin electric motor that delivers a maximum power output of 24 kW (32.6 PS) and a massive torque of 410 Nm at the rear wheel. With acceleration from 0 to 50 km/h in just 1.8 seconds and nearly 1 G, it offers impressively direct power delivery.

The high-performance 78.54 V / 45 Ah semi-solid-state battery (3.53 kWh) with high-quality pouch cells is removable and provides a range of up to 108 km (at 40 km/h) or over 160 km (at 25 km/h). With up to 1,200 charge cycles, it is extremely durable. The completely redesigned KKE chassis, featuring 215 mm of suspension travel front and rear, Kashima-coated stanchions, and SKF seals, ensures precise handling and ample off-road capability. The newly developed, reinforced braking system guarantees significantly higher braking performance and excellent controllability.

The Light Bee 2 also impresses with state-of-the-art electronics: a full-color TFT display (Sur-Ron Vision), a smartphone app, a Bluetooth key, a PIN code, and an IMU with wheelie control.
The Light Bee 2 features an intelligent control system with multiple riding modes (including Custom mode and off-road traction control) that optimizes energy consumption based on terrain and riding style. The completely redesigned, forged frame provides 50% more torsional stiffness, and the swingarm is significantly more resistant to twisting. The adjustable, highly robust suspension and the powerful hydraulic disc brakes front and rear guarantee optimal control and maximum safety even in extreme terrain.
