Light motorcycles are defined as motorcycles with an engine capacity between 50 cm\u00b3 and 125 cm\u00b3 and a maximum rated power of 11 kW. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Light motorcycles with an engine displacement of less than 125 cm\u00b3 and a maximum rated power of 11 kW: These vehicles are tax-exempt.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Motorcycles with an engine capacity of 125 cm\u00b3 or more and a rated power output of more than 11 kW: These are subject to a tax of at least \u20ac9.20 per year, which increases by \u20ac1.84 for every 25 cm\u00b3 or part thereof.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5239957 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"5239957\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Tax exemption for electric vehicles<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-abc6f25 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"abc6f25\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Fully electric vehicles are exempt from motor vehicle tax in Germany for up to ten years.<\/p>\n<p>This regulation applies to vehicles first registered between May 18, 2011, and December 31, 2025. However, the tax exemption ends on December 31, 2030, at the latest.
